Tibetan and Nepal incese sticks

Incense has always had an important place in Tibetan culture. They were offered to deities, lit to ward off evil forces and to protect themselves or to create a clean atmosphere for meditation.
Scented sticks are still made today in the same way as in the past. Tibetan and Nepalese incense sticks are characterized by being thicker and without a bamboo stick in the center. They are made by hand from Himalayan plants and are considered very pure and natural. They are not made from a mixture of essential oils, but from precious wood mixed with other natural ingredients from the Himalayan region.
As they are thicker than the Indian ones, they are not suitable for regular incense holders. Most sticks come with a small stand. If you don't have it, you can pour quartz sand into a suitable container, in which you stick a smoldering stick. If you don't want the stick to burn to the end, simply turn it over and stick the smoldering part into the sand.
