The hand-hammered copper cup with a 250 ml capacity is designed for the natural vitalization of drinking water. In India, copper (tamba) has been used for millennia to store beverages, as the metal preserves water freshness upon contact. According to Ayurvedic principles, drinking from copper helps balance the three vital energies (Doshas): Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The exterior features a hammered pattern, while the interior is polished.

Usage and Safety Guidelines
Use this cup strictly for cold water only. Copper is a reactive metal; do not use it for milk, citrus, juices, or other acidic liquids. For the desired effect, leave the water in the cup for at least 8 hours. The recommended intake is up to three cups of water prepared this way per day. Due to its high thermal conductivity, the cup is not suitable for hot beverages.
Care and Maintenance
- Hand wash only using mild detergent, a soft sponge, and room-temperature water.
- Not dishwasher safe.
- Restore the exterior luster with specialized copper polish or lemon wedges.
- Wipe dry after cleaning to prevent water spots.
- Keep away from direct sunlight.
Note: Natural oxidation causes color changes and dark spots (patina) over time. This process confirms the purity of the metal and does not affect water quality.
