About the Patent

Ralph Bergstresser (1912 - 1998), the inventor of the Tesla Purple Plate, which was based on Nikola Tesla's ideas, did not want to patent this product primarily because of the nature of its function. The Tesla Purple Plate works on the basis of natural physical phenomena, such as resonance with high-frequency vibrations of the life force (prana) and the Schumann magnetic field of the Earth. Since this involves the use of natural laws and phenomena that are publicly accessible and not the property of an individual, patenting such a product is not legally possible. Patent laws do not allow the patenting of natural laws, physical phenomena, or ideas.

Therefore, Bergstresser believed that patenting the Tesla Purple Plate was impossible and also inappropriate, as it would mean that someone would become the owner of natural phenomena, which contradicts the basic principles of intellectual property. There are various manufacturers who compete in the market for Tesla plates and proclaim them as their own, but this is not true, and thus there is no single "original" product.
