White sage
White Sage (Salvia apiana) is a sacred herb and natural incense that we use to cleanse spaces, the body, and objects, removing unwanted energies. It originates from North America and plays an important role in the traditional ceremonies of Native American peoples. For centuries, it has been used as one of the most effective incense plants in spiritual practices for cleansing and protection.
Here you will find a selection of carefully chosen white sage in the form of various incense sticks (smudge sticks), ideal for use in energy cleansing.
White sage is recognizable by its long, gray-green leaves and strong, aromatic scent. During flowering, it produces beautiful white blossoms.
We most often use dried branches in the form of incense sticks (smudge sticks). Its smoke cleanses spaces of negative energies, promotes mental clarity, and creates a sacred atmosphere. Before meditation, during rituals, or for energy cleansing of spaces and people, we use it as a natural protection against negative energies. It is also valued in aromatherapy for its calming effects, helping with relaxation and mental balance.
White sage represents a wonderful bridge between ancient tradition and wisdom and the modern world, where the need for peace, harmony, and protection remains as strong as ever.
How to Use White Sage
Preparation:
Choose the space, object, or person you want to cleanse. Open windows to allow unwanted energies to leave. Prepare a fireproof container and water or sand to safely extinguish the stick.
Procedure:
Light the tip of the white sage stick and gently blow out the flame so that it starts to smoke. Slowly move the smoldering stick around the space, paying special attention to corners. You can direct the smoke with your hand or a feather. During the ritual, express your intention, for example: "I cleanse this space of negative energies and invite positive energies in." After finishing, extinguish the stick with water or sand and place it in a dry spot for future use.
Additional Tips:
After cleansing, thank the sage for its help. For a stronger effect, you can use crystals, a bell, or meditation. Regular energy cleansing is recommended, especially during changes or after challenging periods.
